HERZ thermostatic valves are designed for proportional controllers without auxiliary energy. The opening/closing of the valve and thus the control of the mass flow to the radiator is done in interaction with a HERZ thermostatic head. All common designs (e.g. angle, straight pattern, 3-axis valve) are offered for each model. The connection threads for thermostatic heads are available in M 28 x 1.5 and M 30 x 1.5.
The thermostatic valves TS-98-V (M 28 x 1.5) and TS-98-VH (M 30 x 1.5) have a stepless and readable presetting and are available in the valve dimensions 3/8" to 3/4". The scaling from 1 - 6 determines the maximum flow rate of the heating water. In the DE LUXE variant, the pipe connection is M 22 x 1.5 with a cone, the G 1/2 “radiator connection with an O-ring and a freely rotating union nut to the valve. The thermostatic valves in the DE LUXE design are available in white or chrome-plated. The models of the TS-90-V (M 28 x 1.5) series feature a stepless, concealed presetting. This makes them particularly suitable for use in public areas (avoiding unauthorized access). The kvs values correspond to the types of the TS-98-V series.
Types of the TS-99-FV series with a kvs value of 0.39 are specially designed for low flow rates (e.g. in new construction projects). The presetting of the flow rate can be carried out in stages. The thermostatic valves have a radiator connection with a cone. The pipe connection is designed as a universal model with a special socket for threaded pipe and compression set connection. The models are available in the dimensions 3/8 "to 1/2".
TS-90 models are available with M 28 x 1.5 connection, TS-90-H models with M 30 x 1.5 connection and in valve dimensions 3/8 "to 1". The thermostatic valves have a radiator connection with a cone. The pipe connection is designed as a universal model with a special socket for threaded pipe and clamp set connection. In the DE LUXE variant, the valve is available in 18 different colors in the dimension 1/2 “. Fix-kv thermostatic valves with different flow rates have been specially designed for use in the area of district heating systems (TS-90-KV).
HERZ TS-90-E models have almost twice the kvs value compared to the standard TS-90 model. Due to their reduced resistance these valves are well suited for one-pipe systems. The pipe connection is designed as a universal model with a special socket for threaded pipe and compression set connection. Thermostatic valves TS-E have a 5 times higher kvs value compared to TS-90 models. Their area of application relates to the area of single-pipe and gravity systems. The pipe connection is designed as a universal model with a threaded socket, the radiator connection with a cone.
